For the 2024 TimeForArt auction, we have collaborated with Swiss artist Guillaume Ehinger to create a unique interpretation of the Biver Automatique that blends traditional watchmaking crafts with an avant-garde perspective on the nature of time itself.

UNIQUE ENAMEL DIAL

The white gold dial plate is hand-engraved with a subtle ripple pattern inspired by the light reflecting on the surface of a lake and then covered with multiple layers of colored enamel that give it shimmering effect as shades of red and pink give way to flashes of grey when the light strikes it just right. As with Ehinger's paintings, the dial invites the viewer to experience each elusive
moment as its own unique memory.

A SPECIAL MOVFMENT'

The Calibre JCB-003 is a brand new movement designed from the ground up specifically for the Automatique, with micro-rotor and hand winding, a zero-reset mechanism, and new styles of decoration. This unique iteration of the JCB-003 features a special micro-rotor featuring the name of the watch and Ehinger's signature, reminiscent of what you might find on one of his abstract landscape paintings.

S'TAINLESS STEELCASE

The Automatique was launched with versions featuring both platinum and rose gold cases, highlighting the weight and natural beauty of those materials. For this unique piece, we created the first ever Automatique case in stainless steel, reducing the weight and shifting all the emphasis to the dial itself. For the first time,we also reversed the finishing across the case for a completely different look.
