AdC8, Split-seconds chronograph

AdC8
The main challenge behind this timepiece was to answer the question of what an AdCS plit-seconds chronograph would be like. We created a completely new fancy organic and ergonomic case made in 18k Grey gold with teardrop lugs, designed an amazing Pulsations black galvanic “gilt” dial and for the calibre we used a vintage Venus 185 as a base.

Case
In order to make the case look thinner, we combined a center part curved with a convace bezel and case back. The organic teadrop lugs, inspired by the vintage chronographs, gave more personality to the whole watch aesthetic. The design of the crown with the rattrapante pusher and the pushers were executed in order to not protrude excessively from the case profile.

Dial
The idea of creating a medical dial with a pulsometric scale appealed to us. We designed it in different color versions but the forcefulness of the black galvanic gilt with mirror polished silvered lettering and scales version was determinant for the final choice. The applied Breguet numerals and three engine-turned counters combined perfectly with the 7 leaf hands made in 18k Grey gold.

Movement
Balanced mixture thanks to the combination of the pink gold plated bridges with the rodhium plated wheels and the steel accents of the levers and black polished parts as well the purple black polished beveled screws. At the center, a new rattrapante wheel made of Titanium with the AdC symbol.

Bracelet
A unique bracelet especially designed and handcratfted in 18k Grey gold. The tear drop shape of the lugs became the key visual and we transformed it into the best accessorize for such a rattrapante chronograph.
